Techno­logy of RAS

In RAS-systems, different tanks, adapted to the respective aqua species, are connected to a circulating, mechanical-biologial waterprocessing facility, in a modular set-up. Such a modular water processing facility lies at the core of every RAS-facility and requires a specifically designed and highly concerted layout, to accommodate the respective species.

This technology approach ensures that each module operates with its own water-circulation, thus effectively preventing cross-contamination and fish-diseases and optimizing operating efficiency.

In our current YouTube video the general principle of the state-of-the-art technology is indicated as well as the main components of a basic module and its arrangement.

Such a module can be used as a fully functional “stand-alone” production unit. Also the unit can be extended in a modular way to an industrial fish farming facility. The conceptual design of such modules normally allows to be integrated into existing building or halls in an easy way.
